I doubt too many people will know this little guy, but He's too cute not to post.
Flammie (for those who don't know) is a dragon from the game Secret of Mana. He's an adorable creature you call with something that looks kinda like a lolipop you wave in the air. I had to kind of try and recall what he looked like from the few reffs I had seen for a few minutes (laptop battery died) and what i remembered as a kid.
Yeah...so....RAWR!
Flammie (C) to Squaresoft....Square Enix ....whoever Art is MINE
I'd say you did wonderfully well, and the fact that you didn't have his details perfectly memorized means you were able to give him a sort of personal touch, while keeping his free-spirited appeal. I'm a flammie nut myself: thanks for your take on it! I hope you don't mind me favoriting it...
P.S.:The lollipop looking thing is actually a spin-drum: an old-fashioned toy that I'm guessing is of Japanese origin... something of a baby rattle, if you will. (I also saw one in the game called Onimusha). This spin drum is flammie's favorite toy, so he comes running when he hears it: definitely a cute take on "calling" your "airship" in a videogame.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
